Luciana Viriato Saboya Boaretto is Bachelor in Agronomy Engineer by the University of São Paulo (Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz - ESALQ/USP), Master Science in Food Technology by The University of São Paulo (ESALQ/USP) and Ph.D in Dairy Microbiology by I.N.R.A., France (Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique/Laboratoire de Recherche en Technologie Laitière) in cooperation with the University of São Paulo. Ph.D. Thesis Title: “Lactococcus lysis and proteolysis in cheeses made using Microfiltration and Ultrafiltration”.

Luciana joined Tetra Pak in 2002 where has developed expertise in R&D, innovation and validation of new processing solutions to high performance applied to dairy products. In charge of product development system and introduction of new aseptic technologies i.e. UHT New Generation System, Aseptic Dosing Systems as well for new technologies applied to continuous cheese production: automatic Mozzarella cheese, Bactofugation and Ultrafiltered fresh cheese. Member of EHEDG since 2013.
